Expert Interview Series Week 5 — “Get Rich Right” with Mike Michalowicz

Online4Offline is in the 5th week of our 12 week online marketing expert interview series. Our goal is to help you supercharge your business as we enter the last 100 days of 2008.

During this series we will introduce you to proven techniques and tools to expand your business online and offline. Our presenters will include coaches, marketing consultants, authors, software providers and other “in the trenches” entrepreneurs.

I’m really looking forward to this call. Not only am I impressed with Mike’s “Get Rich Right” message, but Mike’s use of social media and viral marketing in the launch his new book the “Toilet Paper Entrepreneur” was masterful.

On this call we will be discussing the 8 principles of a “TPE” and how social media has leveled the playing field for today’s entrepreneurs.

Here’s a little about Mike’s background:

Mike started his first business at the age of 24, moving his young family to the only safe place he could afford - a retirement village. With limited resources and no experience, he systematically grew a multi-million dollar technology business, sleeping in conference rooms to avoid hotel costs. After selling his first company, Mike launched a new business the very next day, and in less than three years, sold it to a Fortune 500. With his newest venture, Obsidian Launch, he fosters startup businesses with his “get rich right” approach.

A graduate of Inc. & MIT’s “Birthing of Giants” Entrepreneurial Program, Mike received Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards multiple times. He is a recurring guest on CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, has been featured on National Public Radio (NPR), and in the New York Times, Smart CEO Magazine, and other publications.

Mike is a guest lecturer for entrepreneurial groups at Babson, Boston College, Columbia, Harvard, Penn State, and other colleges throughout the country. He bleeds Orange and Maroon (meaning he’s a die hard Virginia Tech Hokie fan).

I strongly recommend checking out the Toilet Paper Entrepreneur

  • Coaches,
  • Marketing consultants,
  • Authors,
  • Software providers
  • and other “in the trenches” entrepreneurs.

On the call Mark and I will discuss “Making your website work.” Before the call ask yourself. Do any of these statements describe you?

Up for a Challenge?

Hey,

George here. On 1st of August, along with Doug and thousands of other business owners and marketers, I’ll be taking part in something very special called the 30 day challenge.

It’s a free, fast start training course designed to show beginners how to make their first dollar (or pound) on the internet.

But don’t be fooled.

——————————————————————–

This isn’t just for “newbies” and it isn’t just for the “make money online” crowd either.

——————————————————————–

I believe the training is so good, you can apply it to a “bricks and mortar” business, e-commerce stores, or pretty much anything else that involves doing business on the internet.

The information here is *so fresh*, even seasoned veterans sit up and pay attention (if you’re in the internet marketing world, you’ll see some big names in the forums already).

Over the last month I’ve been going over what the guys at 30 day challenge call ‘pre-season’ content, and I must say, I’ve already picked up several tips that I know will add thousands to my bottom line this year.

As I said, the whole 30 day challenge is free, but a word of warning.

AND HERE’S THE CATCH:

You need to commit a fair amount of time to do it. If you’re rushed off your feet and don’t have a few hours spare a week, don’t take part. The 30 Day Challenge is heavily weighted towards IMPLEMENTING as well as learning, and if you don’t implement this stuff, you’ll lose out.

But, if you *do* have some spare time to invest in growing your business (which I believe you always should), I strongly urge you to go and register now and dive into the pre-season content.

——————————————————————–

HERE’S THE LINK:

——————————————————————-

The Thirty Day Challenge has been running for a few years now, and they’ve already had a few millionaires out of it.

I’m not saying this’ll happen to you, but a significant boost in sales after taking part is highly likely.

——————————————————————–

HERE’S THE LINK:

——————————————————————–

All being well, Doug and I will be taking part this year. So if you want to get a ‘team’ together, send me an email (or leave a comment on this post) and I can give you a hand.

Enjoy,

George.

Just posted an article on my blog and thought I’d share it with you guys as well.

Now I may be behind the curve on this one, but this could be a massive breakthrough for small business who use the internet to market themselves.
